Tyler English, RSSW

Registered Social Service Worker

Tyler English is a Registered Social Service Worker with The Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). He holds an educational background in social service work from Niagara College, complemented by extensive training in trauma-informed care, non-violent crisis intervention, Indigenous cultural safety, Vicarious Trauma, Crucial Conversations, Mental Health First Aid, and ASIST Suicide Prevention.

Sydney McDowell, AGNP

Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner

Sydney McDowell (she/her) is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner who works collaboratively with patients ages 13+ providing holistic mental health care and ADHD assessment and treatment. As a Nurse Practitioner she can perform comprehensive assessments, diagnose conditions, order and interpret tests, prescribe medication/treatment, provide specialist referrals, and provide specialty care.

Alex Laugher

Supervised Therapist

Alex Laugher is a supervised therapist trained and experienced in providing mental health support and dialectical behaviour therapy skills training to young adults and older teens presenting with complex mental health issues, substance use, and sexual and gender identity-related stressors. He has a wealth of experience working in outpatient addiction treatment programs, and inpatient mental health and emergency department settings.

Emily Bendell

Supervised Therapist

Emily is a supervised therapist that began her career in the field of mental health and addictions in 2022 by supporting youth struggling with substance use disorder, mental health, and other complex issues. She also has experience working with individuals with cognitive and physical disabilities.

Emily is an indigenous practitioner and understands the importance of providing culturally informed care. She strives to create a safe and welcoming space for individuals from all backgrounds and life experiences.

Tapiwa Masanzu, RP(Q)

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Tapiwa Masanzu is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), born and raised in Zimbabwe, currently completing his graduate studies in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. He takes a culturally and trauma-informed approach to supporting individuals as they navigate identity, belonging, self-worth, and overall well-being.

In practice, Tapiwa aims to create a safe and empathetic space where people feel heard and understood. He takes an integrative approach, drawing from CBT, ACT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy.
